Restorative Yoga & Acupuncture!
Happy Spring! Or...maybe Spring doesn't quite feel as happy yet. While many of us are glad to be rid of the Winter Blues, Spring comes with its own basket of troubles. As the foliage begins to bloom, allergies can run rampant, and it's also the time of year where migraines, anxiety, and irritability rear their ugly heads.
As many of you know, acupuncture is a fantastic remedy for all of these ailments. However, acupuncture can only do so much. I often call myself a "wellness plumber" - meaning that I can work hard to clean the pipes and make sure your Qi is replenished and able to to flow freely, but you have to be doing things at home to maintain it. The better you take care of your pipes, the less often you need me! This is where nutrition and exercise come in to play, and they are crucial to your health and wellness. Yoga is a unique form of exercise that simultaneously works on the body and the mind, making it a great option for keeping your Qi abundant and free flowing.
So - what if I told you, you could reap the benefits of acupuncture AND yoga in one workshop? Pretty fantastic, in my humble opinion. This is why we are teaming up with the amazing team at PM Yoga to offer a 2hr Restorative Yoga workshop with an acupuncture experience to deepen your final savasana.
Restorative Yoga is essentially "nap time with yoga props" meaning you'll spend your time slowly moving into gentle and restorative poses designed to soften tension, soothe the body systems, and relax the mind. It is an excellent remedy for stress, anxiety, insomnia, allergies, migraines, and more. Not to mention it just feels great! To finish, 4 acupuncture points will be gently placed on the scalp, forehead, and feet to open the mind and ground your energy while you relax in your final restorative pose.
Read the flyer below for more information, and go to www.pmyoga.com to sign up. We have a sneaky feeling this will sell out quickly, so be sure to take advantage of this great opportunity as soon as possible!
Hope to see you there!
